Once, 5thEstate.com gave Charlie a toy canon for the "Loose Cannon". Smithgall called the "Heroes of the Free Market" - the hoteliers - "Economic Terrorists"! When Bernie Schriver handed out fliers calling Charlie "Cannon Mouth", Republican committee woman, Mrs. Smithgall threatened his life!

First, up is a couple of funnies - actually they all are pretty funny but under the heading, "The Actual Hole Smithgall is digging the City into.", we had the foundation of the new police station. Candidate Smithgall said the Janet Stork's plan to spend six million was too much. When Charlie had control, the cost was THREE times as much! Next, do you remember what Charlie said at McCaskey? We don't but it really doesn't matter - Charlie was ALWAYS putting his foot in his mouth!
Jerry Schuler, (remember the taco-bell shooter investigator that resulted in a false imprisonment?) pressed ZERO charges. Apparently, when you are an elected official's wife you can say and do anything! Read the story right here. We also wrote about the time Charlie said he was going to kill someone! Read the story right here. You know how Charlie 'dissed the firemen and loved the cops? Well nothing showed that more than when Charlie used city workers to repair a cop's sidewalk!
